Too many notifications

On a busy workspace, updates arrive from everywhere and the important ones get lost. ClickUp lets each person decide which updates reach them and where.

The Inbox

The Inbox sits at the top of Home in the left sidebar and collects task assignments, comments, mentions and status changes. Opening a notification lets you reply in place. Once it is handled you can clear it, or snooze it to come back to later.

Notification settings

Under the profile menu, Notifications covers four channels: Inbox, email, browser and mobile. Each starts on ClickUp's recommended default. Switching a channel to Custom picks exactly which events it sends, for example email only for tasks assigned to you and comments that mention you, while everything still reaches the Inbox. On mobile, Smart notifications keeps the phone quiet while you are active in ClickUp on a computer.
