Beyond the standard cards

Standard dashboard cards chart the fields ClickUp already tracks. AI cards use ClickUp AI to write an answer from the workspace itself, so a dashboard can show information that no standard card produces.

A dashboard built from AI cards

This walkthrough opens a demo dashboard where most of the cards are AI cards. An AI Executive Summary describes what is happening in a space, and its scope can be one space, several spaces, a folder or a list. Other cards list the key decisions of the week, draw the week as a cartoon, and assess risk by pointing out tasks with no due date, priority or time estimate.

The AI Cards library

The AI Cards section of the card library holds five cards. AI Brain answers a custom prompt, and AI StandUp tracks real-time task updates such as a change of status. AI Team Update reports changes such as a new assignee, AI Executive Summary summarizes a list, folder or space, and AI Project Update covers deadlines that shift or are missed.

Asking AI Brain

An AI Brain card takes a prompt in plain English, and a prompt can be saved to reuse later. The example asks for the number of overdue tasks, tasks due in the next 30 days and tasks completed in the last week, and the card returns all three counts with a suggestion on where to look next.
