When the work happens
A list of tasks shows what needs to be done without showing when. Deadlines and upcoming work are easy to lose track of that way. ClickUp's Calendar view lays the same tasks out by date.
Adding a Calendar view
In a ClickUp list, the + View button adds a Calendar view, and ClickUp places every task on the calendar by its dates. In this walkthrough, moving the tasks' dates brings them onto the current day in the calendar, and closed tasks can be shown as well.
What the calendar needs
A task appears on the calendar only when it has a start date, a due date or another date field the view is set to display. Filters narrow the calendar, for example to tasks assigned to the viewer or to a custom field value, and color coding can follow task status. The level where the view is created decides which tasks it can show, and the calendar is only as accurate as the dates and statuses the team keeps on its tasks.
