One screen for everything waiting on you
Work spread across projects goes missing in the gaps. Someone answers a comment and it is three days before anyone sees it. A task gets assigned without being noticed. An update lands on a task while attention is on a different list. None of that is a failure of the tool. It is notifications arriving where nobody is looking.
This walkthrough opens ClickUp Home, the screen that loads first, and goes through the three sections that carry those notifications. Inbox collects everything, task assignments, status changes and mentions, and each item can be read, replied to or cleared without leaving the list. Replies narrows that down to the threads where somebody answered you. Assigned Comments holds the ones where your input was asked for by name, with a resolve action once you have given it.
The habit at the end of the walkthrough costs about two minutes. Open Home before the day starts and clear it, so the day begins with a known list instead of a search.
Two automations on a ClickUp list read a project's Service Type and apply the matching task template, so a new project arrives with its action items already on it.
A custom object is the record type Zendesk does not ship: assets, contracts, subscriptions. How to define one, and the lookup field that puts it on a ticket.
A macro is a saved reply plus the ticket changes that go with it. What sits inside a macro, how to build one, and what an agent sees when they apply it.
